Hello, I am Alessandro Drago, founder of Terre del Mediterraneo.
Terre del Mediterraneo was born from the desire to create authentic experiences rooted in Sicily, my homeland. From the Baroque towns of the Val di Noto to the slopes of Mount Etna, from hidden villages to Mediterranean coastlines, our mission is to offer tailor-made journeys that move beyond mass tourism and closer to the authentic spirit of each place.
The project was created with the vision of experiencing and sharing the Mediterranean in its most authentic form—not merely as a destination, but as a land where history, intertwined cultures, ancient traditions, and deeply rooted identities come together.
My connection to the Mediterranean is deeply rooted in my family history. Growing up in Sicily, I developed a profound passion for hospitality, nature, and the art of storytelling, guiding travellers and guests through authentic places, local traditions, and landscapes that leave a lasting impression.
It was from this experience that the idea of creating a project dedicated to authentic and personalised experiences first emerged—a vision that became reality in 2025 with the founding of Terre del Mediterraneo.
